hai di lao/belated birthday celebration!
hi everyone! im gna blog abt our virgin trip t hai di lao 313!
we chose t bring mommy there for her belated bday dinner (:
yea, the boy and i treated her for dinner since she doesnt want any present from us?
had always wanted t try out! 
cause i swear my instagram has been flooding w hai di lao's foodie photos from different ppl recently. 
so we have t try it like at least once mannnnn!!!

hehe. but first of all! forced the boy t help me w my ootd shot.
so happy w all of the photos i shy!

i must say tt the lighting at the corridor is rlly good?
 oh and thanks t the bonus windy weather :))!

tried sticking double eyelid tape on both my eyes. 
my eyes are so much wider as a result?!!! love it!

and so, we didnt book a reservation bforehand,
which was quite stupid. we had t wait for ard 40mins? yes even on a weekday.
dabian face here so..
there's alot of tables and chairs outside of haidilao!
we were served w liang cha, fruits and even popcorn while waiting for our turn t b served..
oh! and there's even board games and all t keep ourselves entertained (: 
im v plead w their services as well. so glad!

and btw, there's a manicure room for the ladies! how nice right?
not those fanciful kind of manicure but i guess the normal ones? like french manicure.
however we didnt go for it while waiting bcse me and mommy were too obsessed w the boardgames hahaahha! how silly!
but i will definitely try it out the next time :]
uhhuh, finally its our turn!
fortunate as hell, we were served t the bigger table for 10 person.
so yaaa its the three of us w the giant table. lol.
and this is the menu. ordering using the ipad is rlly convenient!
and the orders were accurate too (:
the ordering of the food is rlly easy, user-friendly i must praise.

& also you can choose t order half the portion of the food instead of the full quantity (0.5 and 1).
which is rlly clever imo, bcse you can try the dish first t see if u like it and order more ltr..
so basically we ordered 0.5 for most of the dishes. 
you can always replenish it if its not enough and they will charge you accordingly as well.
waitress standing nearby our table t serve us constantly.
you can kindly approach them if you need any help. 
their services are prompt and friendly.

we chose seafood and szechuan ma la for the soup base. 16$ for the soup.
wise choice omgggg, the seafood soup is rlly good!
needless t even mention abt the ma la soupbase. too awesome!! but too spicy for me rahhhh!
but u knw what, die also must order. die dieeee...
beef balls! MUST ORDER!
 there's smthg special abt these pretty lil beef balls.
unlike the usual, its beef balls w special soup hidden within!!
yes smthg like xlb.. so innovative and yummy ^^
ordered this in full quantity cause we heard tt this is rlly gd.
its $14 for the full quantity like this. (:
beef slices. nomnomz!!
ordered their szechuan noodles cause i love noodles ^^
$3 per bowl but sadly, its not rlly up t my expectation at all.
basically what we had ordered.
the beancurn, beancurn skin, golden mushroom and sausage are rlly good.

love the long chopsticks btw haha

all of us ordered liangcha cause the hotpot is  rlly spicy!! >.<
drinks are free flow at $3 per head thou. 
you can choose t have liangcha, soya or plum.
basically we are required t pay for everything lol
yes, even the sauce.
$4 per person for the sauce. 
its self service and you can try t diy your own sauce base ^^
but t b frank,you rlly hv t eat w the sauce.
its makes all of the food extra tasty.
so strongly recommended t pay for it (:
desserts! abel and me skipped trying cause we find it weird? LOL
 but mommy finds it yummy btw.. 

the $4 includes fruits and desserts thou.
but we were too full for anym desserts and fruits )':

the total bill was $121.20.
was actually expecting 150++$..
i find the price reasonable and affordable (:
it actually depends on what you are ordering
 the bill cld cost a BOMB if you order their seafood thou. >-<

hokay, finally done w the haidilao post, hope i provide enough info and details?
everybody shld try hai di lao!!
 its quite an experience for us and we will definitely go back for more despite the long waiting time.
all's worth all's worth *pathead*
so different from the usual hotpot eating place. (:
