Hotel Vagabond Weekend Stayca

Got a chance to stay at Hotel Vagabond for a weekend together with the boy.

I am so thankful for the experience!

I really love weekend stay-cation a lot a lot :')

Hotel Vagabond is conveniently situated for both business and leisure travellers, between Singapore's two most historic districts, Little India and Kampong Glam and only five minutes from the heart of Central Business District (Raffles Place, Marina Bay & Chinatown).

We were given these creative brochures with full details on the attractions near-by Hotel Vagabond.

Pretty good information for the foreigners staying over there.

Spot that Rhino reception desk which is really really cool!

The solid brass Rhino reception desk took 8 months to create across 15 villages in Rajasthan.

The family who made it have been making armoury for the Rajasthani Royal families for generations.

The pillars in the Vagabond Salon area transformed from golden brass banyan trees through delicate metalwork created by centuries old artisanal techniques.

Life-size elephants 'hoisting' up the main elevator are iconic of Jacques Garcia's style and made painstakingly in France by the artist.

Sensuous + Luxurious + Artsy all in one..

And this is the reason why they are ranking Number 1 five star luxury hotel in Singapore as per Trip advisor ratings!

Fun facts to share:

Hotel Vagabond is the first hotel in Singapore to host an Artist In Residence program. Artists from all over the world can apply for residencies ranging from a week to three months.

Artist Cocktail Hour starts each evening at 6pm; a time for hotel guests and other Vagabond folk to talk and interact with the artists in residence.

Hotel Vagabond has #ArtistInSalon popup event time to time so do pop by!

The Bar Vagabond @ the Salon is conceived by award winning drinks collective, Proof & Company.

Bar Vagabond offers up a rotating selection of handcrafted cocktails, artisan spirits and wines, and rare and exotic teas and coffees.

Craftsmanship and artistic license are central features, with drinks often showcasing unique and colorful collaborations with the hotel’s artists-in-residence. Expect surprising and delightful offerings, as well as beautiful renditions of your favourite classics. (Daily from 5pm till late)

Classic Room

Really liking our room so much we decided to stay in the hotel the entire day watching TV and enjoying the relaxing sanctuary it offers.

The luxury accommodation at the Vagabond consists of 42 rooms and suites, each individually designed by Jacques Garcia in vernacular reflecting his award winning Parisian chic style. His mix of color, texture, fabric and dark woods is perfectly showcased in the well-appointed rooms and suites in his new Singapore hotel.
