Back at Astique Clinic this time round to try out their new HydraFacial Treatment.
I was feeling both nervous and excited because it’s been too long since I last had my facial session. And this is also the first time I’m doing facial at Astique Clinic. I do have high expectations as this is the clinic I entrust my face and skin with for more than a year now!
This treatment is unlike the traditional facial that requires needle extractions which may leave redness and scabs on the face.

Okay so anyway after registering, the therapist brought me to the treatment room.

And I was greeted with this little machine here!
The friendly therapist explained to me that this is the machine she will be using during the HydraFacial Treatment.

Had my makeup on after work so first step is to cleanse and remove my make-up.

Scrubbing off my face’s make-up and the process is pretty enjoyable actually hahah!

One more photo before I close my eyes to enjoy the rest of the massage.

The process gently cleanses the skin and exfoliates the outer most layer of the skin to remove dead skin cells, creating a brighter complexion.

The treatment starts right away after removing the make-up on my face.

Disclaimer: My lipstick and my eyes makeup including the eyebrows weren’t removed as I will be heading out right after the treatment. You can opt not to! But the rest of my make-up base and foundation were thoroughly removed. – you can tell from the acne scars on my face.

Smiling because I’m obviously enjoying the painless vortex extraction! This involves using a strong vacuum suction to remove impurities and black/white heads from the skin, cleaning up my pores in the process.

My face feels clean already!

Also, I’m really glad that it doesn’t involve any painful squeezing and pressing of my pores or acne because I have a dinner appointment afterwards. I do not wish to have any red marks or scars on my face as I will be in town for dinner. Phew*

After the vortex extraction, a hydra-serum was use to spray directly on my face using the same machine.

This step uses the vortex-fusion tool, which infuses an antioxidant and collagen into the skin for hydration as well as elasticity.

My eyes are covered with a protector to prevent the serum from touching my eyes.

Since the serum was sprayed directly to my face, it actually felt pretty good on the skin. I absolutely love the cooling sensation when the serum touches my face especially on the cheek areas!

This process lasted for around 10 minutes and the therapist proceeded to gently massage the residue into my skin for better absorption. Super “SHIOK” haha!

This treatment then ended off with a hydration facial mask that was left on for another good 10 minutes.

Hehe the light was dimmed during the 10 minutes masking session so here’s my view!

And we are all done!

The best part of this treatment is that the entire process only took 30 minutes and there is no down-time so you can do this treatment during lunch hour or after work before your dinner. Just like how I did that day!

Disclaimer again! A thin layer on colored sunblock is applied on my face by the therapist as I mentioned that I will be heading out for dinner afterwards but my usual primer and foundation makeup is not on except for the eyebrows, lip stick and the mascara on my lower lashes.

I looked like I still have the entire makeup on which is pure amazing please!! Also, thanks to the magic of eyelashes extension, I wake up looking less like a ghost everyday HAHA! But hello, can you please take a look at my complexion! It’s so good! My face looks so much brighter and nourished!

And nope, there’s no discomfort during the HydraFacial treatment. Everything is quick and painless.

I highly recommend you guys to try out HydraFacial at least once in a while as this is an effective treatment that helps to cleanse, exfoliate, extract and hydrate our skin all in one go and it only requires 30 minutes of your time.
Too good, but it’s true!

Main benefit includes evening the skin tone, improving acne-prone skin, refining skin texture by removing dead skin cells and most importantly, hydrating the skin which results in an improved suppleness and elasticity of the skin.
